FC Barcelona - Forever Bomba
Juan Carlos Navarro is an alive legend of basketball around the globe. But in Barcelona, he is THE legend of basketball.
After 1139 matches played with FC Barcelona, winning 35 championship titles with the team, he had finally decided to retire.
For FC Barcelona, it was the opportunity to show all the love and appretiation that the club and the fans had to “La Bomba” Navarro.
Tigrelab, a creative audiovisual production company from Barcelona focused on new audiovisual technologies,
was in charge of creating a Projection Mapping show in the FC Barcelona basketball court (Palau Blaugrana).
And we have been lucky enough to be part of the team, creating the 3D content of the show.
Forever Bomba Tribute Ball
A legendary basket ball for the legend
We have designed a custom basket ball for the event, with all the statistics of Juan Carlos Navarro.
The idea was to produce this basket ball phisically to give it as a present to “La Bomba” Navarro.
The same ball was used as a graphic element in the Projection Mapping, interacting with both digital and real elements of the court and directing the visuals through the different stages of the show.
